HACCP stands for Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points. It is an approach for measuring the safety of products, procedures and prevention inside food production facilities and health care settings. The goal for HACCP is to protect food from spreading illness, like food-borne illness, and assuring that the food is safe and will not harm consumers.

When a product label displays "HACCP," it means that the product is designed to prevent foodborne illness in food production.
